Different kinds of "lost"

I started this blog several years ago as a fan of the TV show LOST. But now I have other things to write about. The funny thing is...the name still fits. As a parent to a child with special needs, I really was "lost from day one". I had no idea how to navigate this journey I had begun. So, I thought it may be helpful to reflect on where I have been, where I am now, and my hopes for the future. As sure as the sun rises, I have had MANY blessings on this journey...from God, family, friends, and even strangers who dropped into my life at just the right time. Perhaps you will find some inspiration, insight, or just plain humor in my musings. May God bless you!

Yes, I have watched Lost from the very beginning

I was wondering about those "charter" Lost viewers out there, those who started watching on the original air date....Why did you decide to give Lost a try?

For me, it looked like an interesting concept. After 7 seasons of Survivor (the reality show, and I use the term "reality" loosely), I was still lured by the idea of castaways on a seemingly deserted island.

But as I began watching, the supernatural aspect (or what appeared to be supernatural at the time) caught my attention for sure, and the flashback vehicle was a cool twist. I was hooked from the very beginning and remember being glad that ABC was re-airing the first few episodes so that I did not miss a beat. Finally, having been a dedicated Alias viewer, I was hopeful about J.J. Abrams latest venture.
